International account manager Pharma & Life Science DACH Region

Quadia is currently looking for candidates for the position of Account Manager Pharma & Life sciences. The account manager will be a member of the account team pharma. The account manager is responsible for acquisition of new online video projects with new and current customers. He or she is familiar with the pharmaceutical market and has experience in selling marketing solutions to the pharmaceutical & life science industry.
The account manager teams with colleagues, clients and agencies to deliver state of the art web television programs. The programs are used for CME, international news programs produced at medical congresses and patient adherence programs. The ideal candidate has a proven track record as account manager with a medical publisher, medical trainings institute or medical congress organizer.
Roles
- Approaches the market as sales consultant
- Develops and new and existing commercial relations
- Develops new offerings and applications in co-operations with clients and team members
- Writes and presents sales and project management proposals
- Develops promotional campaigns for the pharma & life science market in co-operation with marketing
- Provides input for business planning and forecasting
- Shares knowledge, expertise and commercial successes with team and colleagues
- Contribute to best practices
- Willingness to travel
Education and experience
- Bachelor or master degree in business
- Proven track record in (international) account management in marketing communication, medical training or medical publishing (2-5 years of working experience)
- Established (international) network within the pharmaceutical industry
- Creative entrepreneur
- Knowledge of legislation on pharmaceutical marketing of prescription drugs
- Able to communicate (written and verbal) in English and German. French is an advantage.
Location
Position will be in our Mainz office that will be opened in June 2012.
